About the work

What should people know about your work?

The canvas as a diary, a surface where images are layered upon each other, distinct records of my life, dreams, desires and visions.

My painting practice has always been directly influenced by what I am experiencing at a given moment, it has been a natural necessity for me. The intuitive process of painting is more important to me than the resulting picture.

An important milestone for me was personally meeting people for whom painting is a form of mental therapy, which confirmed my view that painting in and of itself can be a form of healing and a primary necessity; this is also the case with children.

How do you see yourself and your work five years from now?

Joy, first and foremost! Family. Work with medicine. The Amazon rainforest.
