About the work
What should people know about your work?
Observation and self-reflection. Capturing the impossibility of looking behind an obstacle, or the inability to do so; the incomprehension of what is in the foreground of a painting; a tangle of lines; dynamic as well as tranquil compositions that often lead the viewers’ eyes up close, limiting their scope of observation.
Such objects have a place in the painting that is clearly given, and their contours are firmly defined. Solid lines and the shapes given by the present moment; places contrasting with the uncertain environment, as if they were a foggy recollection, feeling or an experience of something changeable.
How do you see yourself and your work five years from now?
It is certain and only natural that a lot of things will change in my personal life, but I will definitely continue painting and will move my artistic practice forward both in terms of theme and content, because that’s important for me. It is quite probable that by then my art will not be limited to paintings as such, but will include sculptural objects complimented by paintings.
