About the work

What should people know about your work?

My work reflects on psychological states when the mind is under great physical or psychological stress.
I mostly focus on the stylised figure animated by movement. I concern myself with endurance sport at various intensities and under different conditions.

I start from drawings, prints and paintings from previous years. I develop them into objects, the sculptural materialisations of the drawings.

How do you see yourself and your work five years from now?

Five years from now I’ll have my own minivan (under 150 000 CZK) where I’ll have a mattress to sleep on and space for a bike, climbing gear, alpine touring and cross-country skis, as well as other necessary equipment.

I’ll tour the mountains and live in my van.

I’ll run, climb, cycle and ski in the mountains.

At the same time, I want to have a studio in Liberec where I’ll go from time to time and maybe make sculptures and graphic art. I really have no idea what they’ll look like. And I don’t care. The main thing is that I’ll have my minivan.
