About the work
Daniela de Luna touches upon the most varied fields, such as music, fashion, video, performance, and tattoo. This extensive scope is reflected in her expressive paintings, into which she additionally incorporates some personal narratives; however, these are left open to the imagination of viewers. De Luna’s works evoke the impression of a flow of controlled energy, unifying the painting and the application of small objects into a single whole, surprisingly harmonious despite all its rawness. It is the assemblage features that often provide a punch-line of the canvases and suggest how to read them.
