About the work
What should people know about your work?
The paintings were made in locations that are in some way important to me. For example, the place where I was born, where I live now, or have been returning to throughout my life because they have a unique meaning for me. This has resulted in something akin to intuitive imprints of places in a given moment – as I perceived them and tried to encompass their genius loci.
How do you see yourself and your work five years from now?
Five years is a very long time horizon. Actually, I would be very glad if I’m as healthy and happy as I am now.
That’s my permanent objective. I’ll also be glad if I manage to continue to be active as an artist.
